أبحاث العدد Pregnancy and its Relationship to Psychological Stress Shahd Al-Anzi Received:3 Sep. 2025 — Accepted: 16 Oct. 2025 — Published: 1 Nov. 2025 Abstract: This research aimed to clarify the relationship between pregnancy and psychological stress in pregnant women. The study relied on descriptive approach to achieve the research aim. The research found that elevated levels of hormones like estrogen and progesterone impact mood and emotional state, making pregnant women more susceptible to psychological fluctuations and emotional stress. Anxiety about the baby’s health, pregnancy pains, changes in body shape, and fear of childbirth all contribute to increased stress levels during this period. The research recommended in providing psychological and social support to pregnant women through guidance programs focused on reducing stress and anxiety and helping them adapt to the physical and psychological changes associated with pregnancy. Given the complex economic, political, and social conditions prevailing in Yemen, adopting modern management methodologies, which aim to reduce waste and maximize value, has become a vital necessity for organizational survival and growth. The study applied the descriptive analytical approach, conducting a review of previous literature on Lean Management and its implementation challenges in developing countries and unstable environments. These challenges are then projected and analyzed specifically within the Yemeni context. The identified challenges are categorized into three main axes, which are cultural and organizational, technological and financial, and human resources-related. The study concluded that challenges in the Yemeni environment are not merely individual obstacles but constitute an integrated and interconnected system requiring comprehensive and innovative solutions. The traditional organizational culture, weak infrastructure, scarcity of financial resources, and lack of trained competencies collectively form a significant barrier to agile transformation. The study presented a set of recommendations directed to organizational leaders, policymakers, and academics, aiming to build a framework that helps overcome these challenges and paves the way for the effective adoption of Lean Management in Yemeni organizations. أبحاث العدد Fidic Contracts and their Role in Regulating Construction Projects Salem Alhumse Abstract: This research aimed to clarify the characteristics of the FIDIC contract in regulating construction projects and to determine the role of the FIDIC contract in regulating their project work. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive approach was used. The research found that FIDIC contract includes general and special conditions that regulate construction work and achieve a balance between the rights and obligations of the various parties to the contract. Although FIDIC contracts are international models commonly used in construction projects, and provide a detailed framework for the terms and procedures regulating the relationship between the employer, the contractor, and the consultant, but they are not considered law in themselves, but rather are applied alongside the applicable national law. The applicable law is the local law that governs the contract, interprets its provisions, and determines rights and obligations in the event of conflict or discrepancy. To answer the research questions, the descriptive and analytical approaches were used to identify the opportunities provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote investment in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The research found that the Kingdom includes diverse investment opportunities in vital sectors that constitute priorities for its investment vision, including Energy and Heavy Industries Sector, Financial Services Sector and Tourism Sector. The results indicate that the Kingdom is making strides in developing its laws and regulations to improve its investment environment and increase the attractiveness of foreign capital. The Saudi government has brought about a qualitative shift in the investment environment through a set of legislative reforms consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2023. The Kingdom’s investment vision is considered flexible and comprehensive enough to provide a general framework within which to work, and to create diverse legislative incentives to support economic growth and development, starting with reducing bureaucracy and facilitating investments and related procedures. The quantitative approach was used to achieve the research objectives and answer the research questions. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The study sample consisted of 82 administrative leaders working at Al-Balqa’ Applied University.The study found several development goals that Al-Balqa’ Applied University seeks to achieve from the perspective of administrative leaders, most notably strengthening international partnerships, improving the university’s rankings, supporting scientific research, and enhancing productivity. The results also confirmed the high level of business intelligence implementation at Al-Balqa’ Applied University. The results also revealed that business intelligence (BI) plays a strong and statistically significant role in achieving development goals at Al-Balqa’ Applied University from the perspective of administrative leaders.
